Georgia’s work
Georgia Wiseman is an award winning jewellery designer maker who graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2003 with a Degree in Jewellery & Silversmithing.
After graduating she spent time living and working in London gaining invaluable business knowledge and experience through assisting individuals in both the Craft and Fashion industries. These experiences were carried with her when she returned to the style rich and inspiring city of Glasgow to establish herself as a prominent and talented designer.
Since establishing her workshop in 2005 assisted by the Scottish Arts Council and Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust she progressed to exhibiting at Collect in the V & A Museum and has recently been selected as a member of Design-Nation an organisation that promotes British design internationally.
Georgia strives to encourage successful relationships between the modern sharp lines of the metal structures she designs and the natural qualities of gemstones; geometric forms against the natural beauty of pearls and detailed structures with light refracting facets of diamonds.
These contrasting elements create contemporary classics with a non-traditional approach - bold and sophisticated jewellery for women of style.
