Designers

JANE ADAM

Jane Adam has been making her powerful but wearable jewellery for over forty years. Her distinctive work in dyed anodised aluminium and precious metals is in many major public and private collections, including those of the V&A, Carnegie Museum Pittsburgh, Crafts Council, Goldsmiths’ Company and National Museums of Scotland.

LUCY ANDERSON

Lucy Anderson creates sculptural works to wear. She plays with geometric shape and pattern in her designs and her pieces are often inspired by her love of fashion, art and design.

KAROLINA BAINES

Edinburgh-based designer/maker, Karolina Baines views jewellery as sculptures that move with the wearer, Karolina seeks to create engaging visual and tactile experiences that instil deep personal connections, with a deft use of texture, colour and linework.

EGLE BANYTE

Egle Banyte's work focuses on the geometry of everyday life. Recognising that we are surrounded and yet often oblivious to geometry, her work aims at re-engaging its beholders with the mathematics of life, the patterns of the material world.

ISABELLA BEDLINGTON

Isabella creates timeless jewellery impacted by history and belief. Every piece is handcrafted in precious metals utilising the torus shape as her reoccurring motif. She creates minimalist everyday jewellery with a strong aesthetic impact, as well as one-off statement pieces with intricate patterns and textures.

JESSICA BRIGGS

Originally a textile designer, Jessica uses ombinations of patterned and textured silver, selectively fusing it with gold whilst often adding depth through part oxidation.

SUZANNE CLAIRE

Contemporary jewellery lovingly French knitted and crocheted by hand. Suzanne Claire is a Manchester based jeweller. Outlets include Gill Wing, London, New Ashgate Gallery, Surrey, Oriel Mostyn, Llandudno, Ruthin Craft Centre, Denbighshire, SH Jewellery, Edinburgh, MCDC, Manchester and Victoria Sewart, Plymouth

ANNA WHEELER - COTSWOLD KNIT

Cotswold Knit is a slow fashion brand of artisan knitwear and accessories, designed by Anna Wheeler. Inspired by the seasonal colours of the British countryside, Anna focuses on meticulous craftsmanship and playful creative design. All knits are crafted in the UK from natural fibres.

BECKY CROW

My work has always had a strongly illustrative leaning. It grows out of drawings and sketches some observational, some imagined.

AMANDA DOUGHTY

Amanda is a jeweller with a love of architecture, photography and details in the urban landscape. She is interested in repetition, shapes, colours, forms and texture, creating a unique collection of jewellery from these observations. Work is created at the bench, also being inspired by the materials she uses in different geometric forms.
