About Ania Sikorska
Creating jewellery is an art form for Ania. She thinks of jewellery as applied art closely related to the human body. Jewellery can arouse emotions and provoke, and Ania likes to think that the jewellery she creates is just like that; that it inspires discussions, encourages reflection, attracts attention and promotes values close to her.
Ania is inspired by nature from a scientific perspective. Mathematicians agree that nature (and we are a part of it) is a very organised mathematical mechanism, which here and there shows through its randomness and organicity. Ania finds this 'rule' incredibly inspiring and fascinating, and that is why she decided that the shapes and patterns associated with the process of growth and movement: lamellas, spirals and waves would become the axis of her entire collection.
Ania is fascinated by new technologies and the perspectives they open up. Her collections are made by combining CAD and 3D-Printing with handmade elements.
Ania Sikorska graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2023 and is showing at Dazzle London as part of our graduate showcase.
