Artist's Statement
Jeweler Helen Noakes is widely recognized for her beautifully executed work in resin and silver. Following a chance discovery of a single set of miniatures and a book on resin, Noakes quickly developed an obsession with combining the two in her varied and stunning collections. She incorporates everything from penguins to circus performers in these small works of art. However, she places the greatest importance on the element of surprise and humor integral to each piece, making a second look a must. Noakes lives and works in Salisbury, England
