KATHERINE WARNER

About Katharine

Katharine trained at UCE Birmingham for a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Silversmithing and at Edinburgh College of Art for a Postgraduate Diploma in Jewellery. Since graduating in 2000 Katharine has exhibited regularly at specialist galleries, shops and at ‘Dazzle’ Jewellery exhibitions. There are several distinct ranges of jewellery; subtle tones of freshwater pearls are used to create delicate necklaces and earrings. Fine silver sheet is fabricated into frond-like leaves and petals. Gold beads create a dew-like effect on silver wire. Katharine is fascinated by intricate techniques using very fine wire, tiny beads and thin silver sheet. The jewellery is always of a tactile nature, not only interesting to touch but luxurious to wear.Katharine is currently spending time with her baby daughter but will be back very soon with some exciting new work.
