Rebecca's work explores the concepts of balance, structure and interaction. She takes all her designs back to their primary forms to create simple yet striking pieces.
Rebecca's tableware explores the importance of dining round the table as a family or social event. With this in mind she has designed a range of tableware that initiates interaction and evokes discussion between its users through it's sculptural playful forms and the manner in which it is used by intergrating the tableware into the table.
Rebecca has drawn the inspiration for her range from the flat reclaimed marshlands and the network of dykes of the Cambridgeshire fens that surround her workshop. With the combination of welsh slate and this asthetic she has created a bold, tactile yet striking range of jewllery.
