My work
I have been designing and making acrylic and silver jewellery since graduating from Brighton Polytechnic in 1992.
My design passions are for strong colours, and simple graphic patterns and shapes. I am particularly drawn to the 1950's fabric designs of Lucienne Day.
I translate my ideas into jewellery using both hand and laser cut acrylic pieces, with dyed edges or etched lines. I have used mostly abstract shapes, but my latest designs have moved towards more organic imagery.
My work is sold in independant outlets and art galleries all over Britain. I also show at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate in April.
