About Tania Clarke Hall
Having studied both chemistry and jewellery, Tania has an innovative approach to design. Her love of experimentation, both in terms of the colours and the techniques she uses, maximises the potential of leather.
Cutting, slashing, moulding and colouring the leather are all process that she employs to create extraordinary collections of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Colour is central to her work and Tania highlights the edges of leather with flashes of gold, reds and cobalt blues creating instant impact and effect.
Unsurprisingly, Tania's source of inspiration is eclectic: the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi, the beauty of geometric solutions and tribal jewellery.
Tania's work has already received critical acclaim and has been sold at the V&A, Tate Britain, Tate Modern.
