About the Artist
Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art, with First Class Honors in Silversmithing and Jewellery in the Summer of 2005 - Abigail Percy has been running her business from a small workshop in the heart of the fashionable West End of Glasgow.All the pieces are entirely hand made, utilising traditional metalsmithing techniques with particular emphasis on intricate piercing. Abigail's work is organic in style with a vintage twist – contemporary silhouettes with softly antiqued finishes and styling. Always working with leaf and flower forms, she creates feminine, enduring and highly wearable items of jewellery.The jewellery is made from 18ct gold plated sterling silver, hand carved and stained faux ivory, freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstone beads
