ADELE KIME

Adele's Work

Adele Kime has developed a unique technique creating sculptural pieces by hand wrapping coloured thread fibres into 3D see-through structures integrated with precious metals.
‘My work is inspired by nature’s way of encasing & protecting. I wish to create sensuous forms which when worn will invite intrigue and speculation around their construction. A fragility is perceived yet in reality there is a self supporting strength in structure’ .

Adele’s work currently comprises two ranges; the high impact of the larger pieces is perfect for the catwalk / exhibitions, whilst the smaller more wearable pieces are accessible for the individual.
