Artist's Statement
Claire is a noticer and collector of everyday treasures. She enjoys detail, whether naturally formed or artificial and is passionate about colour.
Her childhood was spent between Africa and the UK. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in London, she has lived in Moscow, Washington DC, New Delhi and Bangkok. These places have all provided rich inspiration for Claire's work. She has translated the textures and colours collected on her travels into designs embellished with bright enamel, colourful glass beads and precious gem stones.
