About Tanja
The technical background of a German appreticeship combined with a Masters in Metalwork and Jewellery allow her to explore forms and possibilities to create individual personnel pieces. In between 2002-2004 she was working as a visiting lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. She still runs workshops and lectures.
Tanja's different series include the 'satellite' rings which show beautiful cabochonand sparkling facetted gemstones, placed on the rim of smooth rounded rings. Her 'lovers' range are unconventional shapes in 18ct white, red , rose, yellow or 22ct gold representing our steps, waves and moves.
Her latest ring series is an interpretation of the fine tuning of one's balance act. The seperate rings carry off centre stones each of different taste and character, some quietly hidden, some with a vibrant spot of colour. Other works include: Botanical & Nightflower necklaces, Organic & the big O rings.
Commissions & Teaching are available.
