PAULINE EDIE

About Pauline

West Lothian based, Pauline’s work ranges from apparently narrative pieces to much more abstract designs. Her fascination with illustration and handmade forms can be witnessed through her work. Combining carved figures with the hand shaped porcelain, Pauline captures a sense of childlike freedom.  By including elements of popular tales, she aims to engage the viewer through their own recollections. Recent exhibitions include the ‘Meet Your Maker’ exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland and ‘Contemporary Silver from Bishopsland’ at Dovecot, touring from the recent show at the V&A.
