AMANDA DENISON

Artist's statement

Amanda Denison combines precious with non-precious metals, traditional with experimental processes to create distinctive pieces of wearable art.  She originally trained as a fine artist and this influences her approach; mark making and drawing are key elements in her enamelled jewellery. She is known for her controlled use of rust which results in richly deconstructed pieces.
